Background distractions

One of the easiest ways to tell if someone is a beginner photographer is by their backgrounds. An experienced photographer knows the importance of keeping backgrounds free from distractions so that their subjects will stand out. There are many ways to do this, but the most common ways are as followed:

-Blur the background with a shallow depth of field
-Find a really plain background and put your subject between your camera and that background
-Change your angle so that what is behind your subject is less distracting

If nothing else, just keeping in mind the background before you take a photo can begin the process of greatly enhancing your photography.
